My apologies for not sending this newsletter home yesterday and for not sending one home on December 17th!
Also—huge thanks to all the families for the beautiful Christmas gifts you sent my way. Your generosity was humbling and I appreciate you all immensely! I hope your children shared the cards I wrote to you this week.
In science we have been preparing for Teton Science School by studying animal adaptations-focusing on moose, elk, deer, wolves, and grizzly bears. I am very excited for the experiences we will have next week. We will snowshoe, track, go on a sleigh ride and much more!
We took our Unit 11 Spelling Test today. Retesting will be tomorrow for anyone who had a score below 80.
Cell Phone Announcement
Student cell phones need to remain in backpacks the entire school day. This is because I have received complaints that some of my students have phones out at recess and sneak headphones and listen to music during specials.
Please keep encouraging your child to read for Book It. Reading logs for the month of December went home last week. For more information go to: www.pizzahut.com/bookit
