ENCHILADA SALE STARTS

Our Enchilada Fundraiser started last week. We sent home a packet that includes several order forms. A work schedule went home as well last week. We have already filled Saturday! Please return your completed work form as we fill spots on a first come first served basis. As the contract you signed reads, You are obliged to sell 10 orders and work 4 hours per child at the school. Try to clear some hours in your work schedule for working February 26-28. As far as the selling is concerned, the enchiladas practically sell themselves. Let your workplace know you’re selling and take the order forms to work. Please let Anita or me know if you would like to be on the Enchilada Committee and want to commit additional hours before, during, or after the sale.

TETON SCIENCE SCHOOL

It was a great trip! Thanks to our chaperones who went above and beyond the call of duty—Buddy Crater, Christine Gray, and Carrie Grissom. Thanks to Alanna Coca for driving kids to and from Jackson. Thanks to the students who bravely withstood the cold, the snow, the tumbles, the squabbles, the homesickness, and the cleaning to make the trip a memorable one full of learning and fun.

CHOCOLATE SALE

Do we have anymore chocolate or chocolate money out there? Please get it in this week.

SINGING AT 5:30 LITURGY

Please make plans to attend the 5:30 Mass at St. Laurence so that the St. Laurence Kids can sing and shine for the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. We will be practicing the songs all week during Morning Prayer. There will be Pizza, Salad, and Juice served at the school right after the Mass. So come for the songs and stay for the pizza. Save this coming Sunday for mass at 5:30 at the church and then food back at the school gym following worship.

UW BASKETBALL GAME

A.J. Johnson is organizing a Christian Outing where Church organizations from around the state will be able to attend the UW basketball game on Saturday Jan. 31st at 4:00. We need to get at least 20 people to get the discount. I will chaperone the game and would encourage any other parents to join me. They are discounting the tickets to $15 for adults and $11 for students. My plan is that we would meet at the Newman Center and walk to the game from there. Right now I just need to see who is interested in going. Just let me know by this Friday.

BASKETBALL STARTS

The St. Laurence School Basketball team will begin practicing this Thursday, January 22. Permission slips went out to students in grades 3-6 and must be returned before students can practice. We will try to come up with a schedule for the season and put it out to you by Friday.
